room contour drawing
for this assignment I had to draw the room. This was a challenge but I sure did try my best to get everything down from what I can see.
Questions:
1) Did you use a fluid line ? Explain how this is evident.
I think I used fluid lines but for sure I Lifted my pen. Cause if you lift you pen it does not look good.
2) explain how your knowledge and creating practice studies with contour line contribute to the success of your piece.
Cause when you practice it comes more natural. Also you understand what your doing more then before.
3) describe th difference in your contour line drawing to an outline drawing.
Contour drawing is the lines you see and only see. Then outline drawing is drawing the outline of anything your trying to draw.
4) explain how your interpretation of line is essential in capturing the look of the room?
without the lines you wouldn’t be able to tell where the room stops or begins. Also the lines make the room 3D.
5) what did you learn from completing this drawing? If you could recreate your piece what would you do differently to enhance the final outcome?
I learned how to draw using contour lines and if I had to recreate I would pay more attention to what I’m drawing instead of just rushing to see how it looks.

this is my paper bag Item
for this assignment we had to draw a paper bag and what the value looked like on it under the light. The dark area is where are the shadows are and the light is where the light is hitting it
vaule chart/ shaded shapes
for this assignment we had to shade the value chart and we shaded shapes to use the value. Also when we use value it gives it depth we used properly.
one point perspective
where we had to draw a room in one point perspective
two point perspective
drawing a city in two point perspective with tunnels at the bottom.
3D city
drawing a city that is inside a hole.
white ribbon final
in class we had to a value chart in white. Then we had to draw the twisted paper with value. After we completed it we had to draw a circle with value.
Still life final
1. the Craftmanship of my drawing is alright. blending is good also there are some smudges but clean lines. 2. i think my values are realistic, also think that i used all the values. how and why are values important cause it gives the art work a real feeling to it. 3. I would say so but others would say no. 4. why the sketches are very important, is because it shows you what it could look like in different views. 5. my final drawing was successful. 6. the proportions and perspective i would say is alright. 7. the placement of the objects is spot on and how i got it all into one page. 8. the center of interest i dont think it is there so that i have really no clue if i have one or i don't. 9. i think i manage my time well and the resources where well kept. i see myself improving in the shading area. 10. the challenges i encounter was finding the center line. and i didn't really overcome it cause i don't have a center if interest. 11. that it is very hard to get the shapes in the right area so that when i put it on the paper it looks nice and well drawn.
still life portfolio post
we had to draw still life objects that where on a table in the middle room. Then if we could not use are phones to find a view. We made are own view finders to find views from the still life objects. We had to sketch 3 horizontal still like objects and then after that we had to sketch 3 vertical still life objects. Then we had to pick one of them we liked and inlarge it. After we put it on the bigger paper we had to shade it and a value to it then that’s when we got my final product.
food coloring
we had to pick a food and then color it and shade it. We had to use are newly learned techniques to make it look real. This took a couple days to complete and this is my best work so far in drawing class.
look at that view sketches
this we had to sketch out a picture that we are using for a project. We had to draw 4 of the same a pick one that we like and then inlarge it.
look st the view final sketch
after we did are 4 sketches we went right into are final sketch. witch in this case we where trying to make it look like the i finial one we pick from the final four. Then we put them on a clean sheet.
look at the final
1. i created a interesting point of view that it is looking at the a Gage from an angle that is not center but it is really center cause the people who made the car had to make it center. why i don't think it was successful was because i did not make it look like what it was suppose to in the picture. 2. why i think it is important to know how to draw perspective is because they you can give your drawing a field of depth. 3. why colored pencils are important in this was because it pulled everything together. 4. the craftsmanship of the colored pencils and the techniques i used where blending and shading to get the shadows. 5. i got show back ground because there was sky in the back and overall i think they sky is the best part of this whole thing because it looks really good and i never thought i could do that. 6. the obstacles where just getting the size and the shadows of everything that i needed. 7. i would say i would have needed more time to figure everything out and to get the right techniques down before doing something like this. but overall i believe that this work is one of my best work.
this is my 2 final sketch’s
